Kizugawa City is famous for producing the openest weave fabric in Japan.
We manufacture woven wallcovering and Fusuma paper taking advantage of unique characteristics of the material.
Although they are natural materials, they are not all just simple, natural-colored products. Based on the traditional technique of “open-weave fabric”, we look to broadly challenge materials and standards into creating new products.

  • FUSUMA PAPER

    We manufacture a wide range of woven Fusuma paper from popular products to high end products.
    We specialize in woven Fusuma paper with a high designability, using pre-printing Fusuma paper and yarn-dyed yarns.

    We manufacture high-end woven wallcovering. Along with standard items we also specialize in custom-ordered designs and small-lot production.

Process

  • WARPER

    Winding the warp yarn for woven around the beam.

    Insert the weft yarn by loom.

  • INSPECTION

    Visual inspection and correction.

  • BACKING

    Combine fabrics and recycled paper with paste.

    Add design or special performance such as fireproofing on to the surface.
